JAR EM UP

Hello people of the world!

So in one of my old posts, I showed you guys a makeup storing technique with those purple boxes. Recently I thought of a little change as those boxes were taking up too much room on my dressing table. Boohoo!
So I bought the most weirdest thing. Jars. Yes Jars. I know it  may seem odd but I actually think it looks strangely cute. I don't even know if that description gives you a positive idea.
So what I did was I put my makeup essentials in a jar on my dressing table and mind you I think it does looks quite fancy :L hehe!

To make my life  bit easier, I have also put my makeup brushes in a jar as well....

I found a cute little jar when buying my other jars and I still have no clue what to do with it because  it's just really adorable! So just to make use of it, I put my spare makeup brushes into it with some fake flower petals. NOT VERY CREATIVE IS IT? If you have any good ideas on what I could do with this jar then DO LET ME KNOW!!!

I swear I am not obsessed with jars. I swear.
Well if you do use these storing ideas then do send me pictures on my Instagram and Twitter (links on contact page). I think these are really cute and inexpensive ways to store your essentials and they look pretty cute.

BB Cream from NUDE

Hello People of the world!

YES I KNOW. It has been AGES since I have posted. I AM REALLY EXTREMELY SORRY.

I actually had this post saved in my drafts but I didn't get the time to post it.

So, without any further a due, I present to the Nude BB Cream.  This is a dark shade since it is what matches with my skin colour.

It's texture is amazing and it blends in easily. I have been using this a lot over foundation and it certainly does give me a better natural look.

The cost of this product was $19.95 from Myers. It was a great buy to be honest.

So, if you are looking for new BB cream then go ahead and  try this one. It's really really good.

The Body Shop

Hello people of the world!
I know this post is late! I'm so sorry!

Nonetheless, I went out to the mall last week with my friend and I bought a few things that I would like to share with you readers.

So we went into the Body Shop and started smelling everything. They were all AMAZING but I narrowed it down to just one small body butter and a small lip gloss (AMAZING!!!!) .
So below are the pictures of the two beautiful products I have brought from the Body Shop.
Before that, I would love to congratulate them for being greatly environmentally friendly and ethical with their products. I received my products in a cute little paper bag which goes to show how environmentally friendly they are and also their products are not tested on animals. Congratulations Body Shop.

Coconut Body Butter! Great to keep your skin smooth and smelling awesome. The cream is amazingly soft and also smells a bit chocolatey :L hehe!

Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Gloss! I wish I could just eat this in one while go! It is amazing! The texture is so soft and smooth, and it will leave your lips looking flawless!

These two products came together for $17.90. Go out and try these products!

Disgusted about Napoleon Perdis

Hello People of the world!!

Now what I am about to blog about is not very nice and it may be very confronting for some of you guys, however I have to post this since I DO use the brand Napoleon Perdis. When I started my blog, one of my posts was about a mascara and lipstick from Napoleon Perdis and how I have also had my makeup done there and did praise them  about their work. Here- Napoleon Perdies Baby!!!

However, whilst in Business studies today, I was told some shocking news about Napoleon Perdis and also many other well known cosmetic brand names.

For those of you who use makeup (foundation especially) there is an element in the makeup called "Mica" (m-y-c-a). This is what gives your makeup 'shine' especially nail polish and eye shadow. Just like most businesses, their resources for their products come from other countries and labour done by other people. Hence, the mica used in Napoleon Perdis makeup comes from India mined by children who get payed about 8 cents per kilo! Which means about 80 cents a day if they fill 10 kilos. This news is ridiculous and disgusting. When asked about this issue by a spokesperson from Napoleon Perdis, they did not share anything at all.

It is really upsetting to hear this sort of news from such a well known company. Kids who do the mining say they do this to help their family. The pay for this is just pathetic and I believe this news should be pubicised more.

Please share this post! We need to create awareness about this issue as it is really filthy, unethical, disgusting and just utterly wrong!

Here is the article of this issue for more in depth information. India's mica mines

Please do show some care and support  towards these little children.
